The Best Brunch Buffets for Mom

1880 Garten Verein Champagne Brunch

Enjoy a Champagne Brunch at the 1880 Garten Verein from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Taking place during the 50th Annual Galveston Historic Homes Tour, this special event brunch includes a unique gift, live music, and more. The menu includes options of salads, breakfast selections and lunch selections, in addition to gourmet coffee, iced tea, and free-flowing mimosas.

Tickets must be booked online, in advance.

San Luis Resort Brunch

San Luis Resort is hosting a Galveston Mother's Day celebration with a culinary-inspired buffet menu from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Buffet options include seafood, premium meats, salads, brunch favorites and a dessert display. The food options will be accompanied by a full bar, serving drinks such as mimosas, Bloody Marys, and other premium drinks. 

 During brunch, there will be music from two local bands, and there will be a butterfly release in the Promenade Lawn and Gazebo at 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Moody Gardens Mother's Day Brunch

Moody Gardens is serving brunch in their Frances Moody Ballroom at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., as well as a full brunch buffet in their Garden Restaurant from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Their huge menu includes a carving station, seafood display, pasta stations, salad and soup selections, breakfast options, kids favorites, and an assortment of desserts. Don't forget the complimentary mimosas and Bloody Marys.

Seating times are scheduled every 30 minutes for the brunch buffet, with the last seating taking place at 2 p.m. and seatings take place at 10: 30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for the Frances Moody Ballroom brunch. Reservations are required.

On Mother's Day, Hearsay on the Strand is adding featured menu items to celebrate the day!

Hearsay on the Strand is located in Galveston's Historic Strand District. This funky restaurant blends vintage elements with eclectic American cuisine.

Alongside their full menu, Gaido's will be serving aido's will be serving delicious chef’s favorites this year. Treat your mom to some classic coastal treats at this local institution, including Gaido’s favorites such as signature oysters, soup and salad choices, and entrée options such as a center cut filet or the grilled catch of the day. Be sure to wrap up your meal with delectable desserts like their signature pecan pie!
